Beetroot - Carrot Juice

Beetroots play a vital role in health benefits. Yes, they are a rich nutrient source of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals like iron, calcium, phosphorous, etc. Beets are rich in potassium and here I'm listing some of the health benefits of taking beetroot juice in your diet often.

Carrots carry no lesser benefits than Beets. Well, they are good anti-oxidants, a good source of beta carotene, rich in fiber, vitamins and minerals, plus it adds benefits to skin and hair. Young girls! It adds extra beauty to your natural beauty.

I often prepare beetroot-carrot juice as the morning juice. This is a must-try health drink for both kids and adults. Some may hate its flavor and some may like it. This juice is for both beetroot likers and haters. Thinking how? The ingredients added to the juice would make the raw kind of flavor to a minimal but taste and nutrients to a maximal level. What to Use?
  • Beetroot -1 small
  • Carrot -1
  • Jaggery -as needed
  • Cardamom -2 nos
  • Coconut -3 pieces
  • Water- 2 cups

How to Make?
  1. Wash well and chop the beets and carrots into rough pieces.
  2. Add chopped veggies, cardamom, jaggery and coconut to a mixer/juicer and grind along with the water.
  3. Filter the juice and serve.

  • Think not to add white sugar. Adding jaggery really enhances the taste further.
  • Don't waste your time in peeling beets and carrots as the nutrients lie near its skin.
